On the evening of May 13, 2025, as the newly sparked Greer Fire burned through Apache County and drew emergency crews from across the region for suppression efforts, forty-seven graduates of 91�㽶��Ƶ’s (NPC) fire science program were earning their firefighting certifications.

If you’ve listened closely enough over the past few months, you may have heard sweet melodies and voices ring as you pass 91�㽶��Ƶ’s Performing Arts Center on Wednesday nights. They are the practice sessions for the Silver Creek Singers, a group of 63 singers who have come together from throughout the area to form an adult community choir at 91�㽶��Ƶ.

Over forty students and staff from across 91�㽶��Ƶ took to the streets, roads, and wide-open spaces in observance of Earth Day, April 22, on a mission to make a difference, no matter how large or small.

The Navajo County Community College District Governing Board (DGB), which oversees 91�㽶��Ƶ (NPC), adopted a preliminary 2025-2026 budget at its April 15 meeting. Several key items were highlighted for the upcoming fiscal year. The initiatives emphasize the college’s commitment to helping students, employees, and the communities it serves.

Regional qualifying rounds for SkillsUSA are now complete. Thirty-five students from 91�㽶��Ƶ (NPC) and the Northern Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology (NAVIT) are now gearing up for the statewide competition which will be held on April 22 and 23 in Phoenix.
