Teacher classes offered by 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ are:
POS Classes: If you need teacher certification classes,Ìý³Ù³ó±ð Arizona ConstitutionÌýand Government (POS 221 • 1 Credit) and/or the U.S. Constitution (POS 222 • 1 Credit) courses meet the requirements of Arizona and US History for those seeking Arizona state teacher certification. These courses pay special attention to the operations of state and local governments and focus on the philosophical and historical roots of the Arizona and US Constitutions.
For Summer 2026, students are able to enroll in POS 221 and POS 222. These courses are "open-entry," which means you may register at any time for either of these online courses while working at your own pace. Courses must be completed within one year of registering.Ìý
NOTE: Beginning on August 1, 2026, POS 221 and POS 222 will have new structures!
Each year beginning August 1, POS 221 and POS 222 will be offered in 12 staggered sections. Each section will run for two months, with a new section starting on the first day of every month (e.g., Aug 1–Sept 30, Sept 1–Oct 31, Oct 1–Nov 30, etc.). Students can enroll in a course prior to the start date and through the first month and will have the remaining time of the two-month period to complete all coursework. The courses are offered Pass/Fail. Students need 70 percent in the course to pass.
In addition to the twelve two-month Rolling Entry sections, at least two 8-week, standard term-based sections of POS 221 and POS 222 will be offered each year. These 8-week sections will use letter grades (A, B, C, D, F).

Your enrollment confirmation email from the NPC Records & Registration - Admissions Office will have the information you need to log-in to , find your POS class(es), and access your Moodle account that contains specific course instructions and a syllabus.
NOTE: Submission of the online course registration for POS 221 & 222 does NOT guarantee enrollment in these classes. Only a confirmation email will let you know when you are officially enrolled. SEI Classes: If you need to meet the Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement requirements for teachers, then NPC has what you need! NPC is an Arizona Department of Education Approved Course Provider. The SEI course, which provides the required content for early childhood and elementary certificate endorsement, is offered independently and may be taken outside of a program of study. Check the for availability and the academic calendar for semester start/end dates.

EDU 280Ìý- Introduction to SEI, Augmented (3 Credits) -ÌýEmphasis on understanding English Language Learners (ELL) in the K-12 classroom. Covers the history, culture, theory, methods, and an introduction to both the English Language Proficiency (ELP) standards and the Arizona English Language Learner Assessment (AZELLA).
