Friends, family, and NPC faculty and administration gathered to celebrate six outstanding nursing graduates from the Little Colorado Campus in Winslow at a special pinning ceremony at The Arboretum in Flagstaff on May 8, 2026. These students worked extremely hard to maintain their work, family, school, and clinical schedules to become the area's next generation of nurses. The pinning ceremony honored not only their academic achievements but the compassion, resilience and dedication it takes to become a nurse. The pinning ceremony is a meaningful tradition, symbolizing the transition from student to professional, and is a way of welcoming each graduate into the nursing profession. These dedicated and talented nurses are ready to serve the needs of our communities and enter the healthcare profession as skilled and caring nurses.
Congratulations to our newest nurses! We are so proud of you and the care you will bring to your communities! 💛💙
