91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ offers a variety ofÌýpositive, distraction-free testing environments for NPC students and local community members. PLEASE NOTE: NPC DOES NOT OFFER REMOTE TESTING SERVICES. All testing is completed at an NPC location. Services include:
ÌýHigh-Stakes Testing
Certification exams proctored by certified proctors. Some examples are: GED, CompTIA, AZ Real Estate License, Teacher and Principal certification, Pharmacy Tech, CLEP, and EMT/Paramedicine.
These exams are offered at one of two Pearson VUE testing centers at NPC'sÌýShow Low and Holbrook locations.
NPC HIGH STAKES TESTS INCLUDE:
High School Equivalency (GED®) Testing
NPC testing sites administerÌýHigh School Equivalency (GED®) testing. The GED® test measures your knowledge and academic skills against those of today's traditional high school graduates. The test covers four subjects: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science and Social Studies. The test is taken on a computer through Pearson VUE and is made up of the following types of questions: multiple choice, drag and drop, hot spot (select an area), fill in the blank, short answer and extended response. You may take the entire exam at once, or schedule individual components on different dates.
COST:ÌýThe four-part test costs $164, orÌý$41 per section/module.Ìý(Fees are set by Pearson VUE -- not by NPC!)
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Ìý *Arizona also requires that you pass theÌýÌýin addition to passing the GED®Ìýtest (Add $9).
- Once you have paid for and scheduled the test, you must appear in personÌýwith required identification at one of NPC's two Pearson VUE testing sites to take the GED® exam.
- All test scheduling and payment is done through Pearson VUE at or by calling (877) 392-6433. Any test cancellations must also be made through Pearson VUE.

NPC's Show Low and Holbrook locations are certified testing sites for , administrators - one of the world’s largest providers of computerized certification testing. Just about every exam available through Pearson VUE can be taken at the NPC testing sites.
CLEP Exams
What is CLEP Testing?
TheÌýCollege-Level Examination Program (CLEP)Ìýhelps you earn college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course. It is accepted byÌý2,900 colleges and universitiesÌýand is administered in more thanÌý1,800 test centers.
If you’re planning to go to college, CLEP can help you save money and time. And you may already have the right knowledge and skills.

ÌýAcademic TestingÌý
Academic testing is by appointment only and can be proctored at any of our campus locations.
ATTENTION: Due to limited resources, the testing center will only proctor make-up exams. Full course exams should be administered and proctored within the regular meeting time by the instructor. Instructors may use the Connected Classroom system to supervise multiple sites simultaneously. If the exam is given electronically, Respondus can also be utilized for additional security.
